Dumfries and Galloway is washed by the Gulf Stream, so there are exotic gardens in the extreme west – visit Logan Botanic Garden, Glenwhan Garden and Castle Kennedy Garden. Nearby are Threave and Arbigland and a host of small gardens and nurseries.
